I was also really taken aback by how aggressive the vendors on the beach, the time share sales people, the taxi drivers and even the manager at the hotel I was staying at were. It's not really surprising considering they have suffered the double blow of being ground zero for H1N1 and the economic crisis.

I’m a communications professional currently working in health care focusing on media relations, internal communications and special event management.
I have worked at companies such as Mustang Survival, Shaw Cable, Rogers Cable in Communications, Graphic Design and Community Relations. I have also volunteered my skills to the Vancouver Tennis Association for their 2005/6/7 membership campaigns as well being the Marketing Director for the Vancouver Pride society in 2000 and 2001.
Outside of work I have a big appetite for pop culture, play tennis, volleyball and softball and love to travel.
